Workshop ‘Planning for the End of Life’

The Planning for the End of Life Workshop provides practical and hands-on information to help people of all ages prepare for the decisions and actions that they and others might have to take at the end of life.

Contents include:

      • Health, Financial and Estate Planning – Presented by Covenant Health Palliative Institute
      • Catholic Funeral Rites – Presented by Pastor or designate
      • Funeral Services and Pre-planning – Presented by Connelly McKinley
      • Catholic Cemetery Services – Edmonton Catholic Cemeteries

    Options for presentation:

        • A stand-alone half-day workshop presented by a parish or deanery.
        • A series of presentations by the various partners on different days.
        • A wrap-up workshop for the Dying with Christ-Living with Hope parish course.
        • Part of the Preparing for Happy Death and the Life to Come course. This will require some shuffling but a revised course plan might look like this:
