Amanda Achtman is known nationally and internationally as the founder of Dying to Meet You, a project of cultural renewal to humanize our conversation on suffering, death, meaning, and hope. She is the Ethics Director for Canadian Physicians for Life and teaches Catholic Bioethics at St. Bernard’s School of Theology and Ministry. For three years, she worked on Parliament Hill in an effort to prevent the expansion of euthanasia to persons living with disabilities or mental illness. Amanda will inspire us with her deep commitment to the prevention of euthanasia and encouragement of hope.
